We have organized a Coursera Meetup at LNMIIT, Jaipur in order to enhance MOOC Culture @LNMIIT.Coursera Meetups are a great way to meet your fellow “Courserians,” swap stories, share ideas, form study groups, and have a great time.
Doing any MOOC course at the moment? Looking for peers to meet up with offline to discuss questions, share knowledge and solve problems.
I have been involved sparingly in Meetup’s from past 1 year , but it wasn’t until September, 2017, that I started really getting involved in it and even ended up organizing my own in collaboration with Coursera & powered by CybrosX.
So, A meetup was organised at The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur on the 13th of October 2017.

Mentoring Introduction to Natural Language Processing offered by The University of Michigan.
So, In brief Ayush shared how Text mining, also referred to as text data mining, roughly equivalent to text analytics, is the can be leveraged to derive high-quality information from text.
Mentoring Front End UI Frameworks And Tools offered by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology & Single Page Application offered by John Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering.
Divyanshu (that’s Me ) shared How Bootstrap Front End UI Framework makes designing a lot simpler and you don’t have to worry too much about how your site looks like on different browsers because the framework already takes care of that. It saves you a lot of time.Divyanshu also shared How the concept of Single-Page Application (SPA) is a web application or web site that interacts with the user by dynamically rewriting the current page rather than loading entire new pages from a server.
Mentoring Introduction to Machine Learning offered by Stanford University.
Lokesh shared insight about Machine Learning & AI : What it is and Why it Matters Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are two very hot buzzwords right now, and often seem to be used interchangeably.They are not quite the same thing, but the perception that they are can sometimes lead to some confusion.
Mentoring Data Structures and Algorithms offered by University of California San Diago.
Pradyumn shared Algorithms are at the heart of every nontrivial computer application, and algorithmics is a modern and active area of computer science and How he learnt algorithmic techniques for solving various computational problems and ended up solivng whole lot of alogrihmic porblems by leveraging knowlege acquired by the Coursera Course that he is currently Mentoring.
Mentoring Front End UI Frameworks And Tools offered by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Pratul Shared How We can leverage Bootstrap to design templates for typography, forms, buttons, tables, navigation, modals, image carousels and many other, as well as optional JavaScript plugins and whole lot of cool stuffs that we can do with Bootstrap.
Two-Hundread people gathered together in a Lecture Theater in quiet anticipation of the event to follow.
Personally I think this Meetup was very well organized and very successful. I fully enjoyed the two-Hour event with so many interesting talks and discussions on various topics.
I really did enjoyed the sessions, delivered by several Mentors and they were very informative and insightful on their particular areas of expertise.
A good event experience means happy guests, exhibitors and sponsors who want to come back — and bring their friends. A lackluster event or frustrating conference experience leads to stagnant or declining attendance. After all your work attracting these people to your event, it would be a shame to lose them and yet again Cybros X proved it.
In conclusion, I would like to express my heart-felt thanks to people who have made this Conference possible and those who have shared their experiences during that one exciting Hour in LNMIIT,Jaipur. I have benefited very much from this fantastic event.
